The oldest method to trace cell phone numbers, probably using internet phone book, but you must understand that this can only give you a limited search. Telephone network can be effective if you’re just looking for a residential number, because cell numbers are considered to be private and therefore they are unlikely to be listed on the online phone book. Cellular phone numbers should be private, since they are provided by telecommunications companies for personal use. So rare that there is a public record that you can get a list of all such numbers. However, there are still ways that you can track these numbers, without invading their privacy. Of course, this is only possible if you know what resources to use and how to use them.

You can trace the mobile phone number, using your regular search engines like Google and Yahoo. Because these search engines have a very large network, and almost all people with their help, we can only assume that at some point the number in question had been used in some personal or on-line business issue. Of course, you’re just taking your chances, because these search engines do not really have a database that is dedicated in keeping your mobile number.
